Kidz Biz play cafe is one of the most affordable in Adelaide.Prices are kept down by being mostly staffed with volunteersfrom C3 Church and associated youth group. I have been going to Kidz Biz play cafe for almost 4 years now. The staff have always been pleasant and friendly. The staff from the youth group are quite young, but they do an amazing job, while gaining valuable life skills.

When entering Kidz Biz, the first thing you notice is how bright and spacious the area is. There is room for prams and room to move between the tables, not something you will always encounter.

The cafe area is always clean and tidy and the adequate number of staff helps to ensure that dishes are removed from the table promptly.

The play area has 2 separate areas; one area is for 1-3 year olds and incorporates a ball pit and slide. There are tables near this area and parents can also sit inside the area to supervise the little ones. The bigger area is suitable for children 3- 12, there is a large ball pit, lots of climbing equipment, and slides. To date Kidz Biz is the only play cafe I have seen staff periodically inside the play equipment keeping an eye on things. I have also been witness to the staff handling complaints of badly behaved children, Staff have been quick to get involved and come to a satisfactory resolution for both parties.

Amenities
Male and Female toilets, there is only 2 of each so occasionally there is a line up, however the toilets are kept clean and tidy. There is a change table that is at the end of the corridor out of the toilets so men and women can make use of it. A microwave is available in the cafe area for heating bottles and baby food at no cost.

Cafe
The food is great and reasonably priced, There are vegetarian options available. Kids meals start at $4.50. I love the nachos and the tuna wraps, but my all time favourite is the MEGA coffees and chai lattes. The BLT also rates very highly. A range of cakes are stocked in the cabinet, and for $5.75 you can get a coffee and cake special.

I am impressed at the level of cleanliness at Kidz Biz. Ever wondered what is at the bottom of a ball pit?? Well at Kidz Biz it is nothing. On a recent visit a child vomited in the ball pit, the staff were quick to get everyone out of the play area while they made sure the rest of the area was clean. Then the bags came out and all the balls were removed from the pit, cleaned in an automated machine that takes the balls in, cleans them then blows them dry back into the ball pit. I had always wondered how and if play cafes clean the balls in ball pits.

Parties

Parties are available at Kidz Biz from $15 per child, includes entry, 5 choices of food and drinks, if the booking is for less than 15 children you can make use of the party room, for bookings over 15 children and the party will be conducted in the Cafe area. You can bring your own birthday cake. There are additional extras available such as lolly bags and extra food choices.

Kidz Biz has recently introduced a loyalty card, each child entry earns you a stamp, and on the 10th visit a child gets free entry and you get a free coffee.
