The center caters for everyone from Olympic swimmers to families with young children. For families there is a water playground, with a big water bucket and it is lots of fun, as well as being indoors so you can go anytime of the year and not have to worry about the weather. The waterslides are the best in Adelaide, and are charged at $2 dollars a ride. There are diving platforms, 15 m Learners Pool, Toddler pool, Jet Pool, steam rooms, a gym with a crèche or just sit back with a coffee and let the children play in the water playground. Or be brave and go on the waterslides or dive off the high boards!
The facilities, and changerooms were also very clean and open. There is also a mixed change room so all parents can go in with their children.
Price for a family ticket is $19.80, not bad for a whole day out
Visit Harndorf
Located Hahndorf is situated in the picturesque Adelaide Hills and is renowned as the premier tourist town for the region. To get there from Adelaide, take the South Eastern Freeway from the city of Adelaide, and turn off at the Hahndorf exit, a drive from Adelaide of about 20 minutes. Public transport is available.
Dont leave with out visiting the lolly shop or one of the bakeries. There is several great places to go for lunch in the Main Street.

Visit Victor Harbour
Victor Harbor is lucky to have two famous residents - The Southern Right Whale who travel in packs and visit our shores every winter, and the little penguin the worlds smallest penguin, and one of few penguin colony's to be so close to a city.The most reliable time of year to spot a whale is during July and August. Migratory patterns are somewhat predictable, returning to our sheltered, warm waters to mate or give birth to their young. The unique behaviour of the southern right whale makes it an ideal species for land-based whale watching and they can often be sighted within 100m of the shore. You can also take a horse drawn carriage over to Granite island.

The Urimbirra Wildlife Experience gives you the chance to view more than 70 species of Australian fauna in their natural surroundings.The paths through Urimbirra allow you to see the animals at close range and a walk through the 16-hectare site is a photographer's delight.Reptiles on display include salt and freshwater crocodiles as well as venomous snakes, pythons and lizards. Walkthrough aviaries provide close interaction with lorikeets, doves, ibis and stilts. Other aviaries house cockatoos, other native birds and fruit bats.Hand feed the kangaroos and wallabies throughout the park.

Owned and operated by the Royal Zoological Society of South Australia, we are the only major metropolitan Zoo in Australia to be owned and operated by a not for profit organisation and governed by a volunteer board on behalf of its members.

Being one of the two oldest public buildings in Adelaide, the Gaol has much to offer in the way of education, history and entertainment. You can learn about Adelaide's penal history and its architecture from the time of the early settlers right through to today.
Wander around the Gaol at your leisure or book a place on one of our guided History Tours, maybe you would prefer a night time Ghost Tour or even participate in a Paranormal Workshop.
All tours are run by the Adelaide Gaol Preservation Society Inc. which is a not for profit organisation and is run entirely by volunteers. The Society conducts the original and authentic Gaol Tours and is not affiliated with any privately run Gaol tour operators.
Individuals, families and groups are all welcome and there is plenty of free parking.
